TRACE

Cinematic X-rays of everyday life

Episode 01 out · YouTube @TheTraceSeries

The story

TRACE is not “here is how it works”. It is “come inside and watch it happen”. Time stops on an everyday moment, a single section cut opens the object, and the camera shrinks and travels with the thing that moves.

Every frame is rendered on my Mac in Three.js inside Remotion, with real lens depth of field, motion blur and soft shadows, then a filmic grade. No stock footage and no generated images. The sound design is made in code; the narration is an AI voice.

Episode one follows a card payment from the tap to the beep, and then the money underneath, which moves later, slower and in batches.
